Over the weekend, pop megastar Miley Cyrus paid homage to beloved Bikini Kill/Le Tigre/the Julie Ruin Kathleen Hanna via some Instagram images. That nod has caused Hanna to respond and, best of all, suggest the two collaborate.
Miley took the time to post two images of Hanna in her Bikini Kill days, calling her the "coolest ever" and sharing the hashtag "#girlsrule."
It was a nice gesture, though hardly newsworthy. Then, in turn, Hanna responded and, best of all, suggested a possible collaboration between the two artists.
Though Miley Cyrus is a huge, likely busy pop star, there's a good chance she'd respond. After all, she was able to make the time to contribute to a handful of songs on the Flaming Lips' upcoming Beatles cover album.
