Last month, rapper Pusha T suggested that Cruel Summer, the long-awaited compilation from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, would finally be arriving on August 7. If you've been counting down the days, then we're sorry to say you're going to have to wait a little longer, since the compilation just got an official release date that's a little later than expected.
Cruel Summer will officially drop on September 4 via G.O.O.D./Def Jam. There are still a lot of details to be confirmed, since we still don't even have a tracklist, but we should learn more very soon now that we have a date to look forward to.
Pusha T's website confirms that the album will feature "Kanye West, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, 2 Chainz and more." The collection will apparently feature the recent singles "Mercy" and "New God Flow."
Thanks to Pitchfork for the tip.
