While it might not technically count as the follow-up to Justin Timberlake's smash 2006 sophomore LP FutureSex/LoveSounds, the pop-star-turned-actor is returning to the music world to deliver a score for the upcoming film The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Timberlake will compose the movie's soundtrack and act as its music supervisor. While a release date has yet been set, the film is being directed by Bill Purple and will star JT's longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel, Chloe Moretz and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
The story takes place in New Orleans, and focuses on a widower (Morgan) who recently lost his wife (Biel) in a car accident, and who is helping a young girl (Moretz) build a raft to sail across the Atlantic Ocean.
