The Junction have been a prominent part of Toronto's music scene for over ten years. Having just released their latest record Grievances, an album inspired by a bad breakup for singer-songwriter Brent Jackson.
Jackson states in a press release "Grievances is not a 'breakup record.' Instead, it's a musical examination of universal human pathos in all its forms — brightness and love, but also detachment and heartbreak — a consequence of Jackson's ongoing 'quest for the real.'"
Performing one of the songs off the new record, check out The Junction's "Monuments" live on Exclaim! TV. And be sure to check out the first half of our session with The Junction here.
