East Coast quintet Junction 18 shines on their debut full-length. Although they claim Weezer, the Descendents and All among their big influences, this sounds like a clever blend of Dag Nasty and the Far Side. Filled with memorable melodies and plenty of hooks, it makes for good listening that won't wear thin anytime soon. Add some heartfelt angst in the lyrics and you've got the perfect summer soundtrack for the emo set.
