July Talk had a pretty impressive run with their 2013 debut self-titled album both at home and abroad, but the Toronto band are finally ready to show off some fresh material.
A new tune titled "Push + Pull" is set to capture the dynamic between the duo that fronts the band, Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis. Her saccharine purr and his gravelly growl play off each other atop a surprisingly dance-y instrumental backdrop.
It's an exciting offering for fans that have been waiting a while to hear some new music. Before a sophomore record arrives later this year, the band will be bringing their new stuff on the road for a string of festival dates this summer.
