Journey member Deen Castronovo is in some serious legal trouble. Earlier this month, he was arrested in Salem, OR, for domestic violence of an unidentified woman (believed to be his wife). Yesterday (June 29), more charges were brought against the drummer as he was indicted for rape in the first degree and sexual abuse.

According to TMZ, Castronovo was arrested yesterday and is being held without bail in Marion County, OR, without bail. The charges against him also include coercion and unlawful use of a weapon.

EW reports that Castronovo violated the terms of his initial arrest by maintaining contact with the victim. He's expected to appear in court today.

Castranovo has been a member of Journey since 1998, though it should come as no surprise that the band have already replaced him with new drummer Omar Hakim. He'll perform with the band on all of their upcoming tour dates, including a full Canadian tour. You'll find the band's itinerary here.
