The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's new album Meat and Bone, their first since 2004's Damage, hit retailers today (September 18), and the band are toasting the new release with a grisly new vid for previously premiered tune "Black Mold."
Despite its glossy presentation, the hi-def clip preserves the fetid adventures of a pair of brothers who happen upon a crash-landed UFO, a severed hand and a pile of pitch-black muck. Without giving away too much, let's just say that maybe some calamine lotion would have helped soothe the one sibling's nasty rash. We're also going to add that it's probably best to avoid a suspiciously large pile of rotten Gala apples.
You can catch the video for the filthy, fuzzed-out blues-rock number down below.
