Electronic master Jon Hopkins recently got Purity Ring to hop on one of the songs from last year's outstanding Immunity, and now he's unveiled a new vocal collaboration. This time, singer Lulu James has lent her voice to the new single version of the Immunity cut "We Disappear," and Hopkins has additionally mapped out a North American summer tour.
This new version of "We Disappear" can be heard below. Hopkins and James met at a Croatian festival, and they linked up at Hopkins' London studio for this track. A press release describes the results as "much sparser, and almost Lynchian — darkly atmospheric, pulsing and retaining the urgency of the original, but adding new depth with James' stunningly soulful vocal performance."

The song is available digitally now. A 12-inch vinyl version will come out on June 30 through Domino. This comes backed with a remix by Moderat.
As for the tour, it will last for most of July and into the beginning of August. In that time, he will play a selection of U.S. gigs and make Canadian appearances in Toronto and Vancouver before eventually ending up at Osheaga in Montreal.
