Jon Brooks Announces 'Walberswick' LP, Shares "My Corner (Audio)"

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 13, 2015

UK electronic veteran Jon Brooks has turned heads with his ambient work as the Advisory Circle and his disco production as Georges Vert, not to mention his releases under his birth name. He'll use his own name once again for a new LP called Walberswick.

The eight-song album will arrive via Vancouver imprint More Than Human. This marks the first full-length offering from the label, as well as the first to break away from the art layout for its previous 12-inch releases. The album's cover is available above.

Walberswick was composed and performed on the Buchla Electronic Music Box. A press release calls the album "a sensory blend of ambient excursions, tone pieces, soundscapes, rhythmical pulsations, and wry humorous asides."

Before it arrives in full, Exclaim! is happy to share album track "My Corner (Audio)" with you below. Walberswick will arrive on limited-edition vinyl on May 19, with a digital release set for June 2. Pre-order the release here.
