Johnny Fiasco

Chicago house mainstay Jon Lopez (aka Johnny Fiasco) serves up a retrospective of his most popular house cuts and some remixes in Cycles, which more or less plays like an electronica overture of the man's musical career. A quality set for house fans that will no doubt recognise most of the tracks, Cycles is a seamless mix of Chicago house with some kick, and is upbeat with a vengeance. By the time "Circus" (the title says it all) comes on, one can sense a bit of humour to the showman-like quality of this "greatest hits" parade of Fiasco favourites.
