John Talabot Books North American Spring Tour, Plays Toronto and Montreal

BY Alex HudsonPublished Feb 5, 2013

In 2012, Spanish beatmaker John Talabot swung through North America as the XX's opener, and now he's returning with a few gigs of his own.

Aside from a scattering of European festival appearances, Talabot's spring will be devoted to North America. After coming to our continent to perform at Sasquatch! in May, he will play a selection of U.S. shows, plus two Canadian gigs: Toronto on May 31 and Montreal on June 1 as part of the upcoming MUTEK. See the schedule below.

This tour is in support of Talabot's 2012 album ƒIN, which was reissued in expanded form back in the fall through Permanent Vacation.

Additionally, Talabot updated his SoundCloud page with a few new tracks. This includes the complete recording of his two-hour set at Belgium's 10 Days Off festival in July 2012. Stream that at the bottom of the page.
