John River hails from Mississauga, ON, and the rising rapper is representing his hometown with a video for "Get Down."
The clip begins with a close-up shot of Mississauga's city sign. As the thumping dance-rap song starts, we're transported to wild house party where River spits fire as people play dominoes and drink from beer bongs. Meanwhile, a panda goes on a drug trip and River heads up to the roof. As night falls, the party spills out onto the lawn, and the whole thing culminates in River jumping into the pool in an "I am a golden god" moment. It looks like a hell of a good time was had by all.
Watch the Abstrakte-directed clip below. This song will appear on the upcoming mixtape The Storm.
