New York rapper Joey Bada$$ is about to reissue his Summer Knights mixtape as a truncated seven-song commercial release, but the package includes a couple cuts left off the initial freelease. One such track is a remix of the dancehall-inspired "My Youth," which has now been redubbed "My Yout."
While the smooth organs and rocksteady pacing of Chuck Strangers' production remain, as do Bada$$'s bars, the major difference is that reggae artist Collie Buddz's hook has now been replaced with a similarly melodic contribution from UK singer Maverick Sabre. It's not the biggest of tweaks, but you can hear the alternate version of the track down below.
The new Summer Knights EP hits iTunes October 29, and will also include a new cut called "My Jeep" that teams Bada$$ with fellow Beast Coast rappers Flatbush Zombies and the Underachievers.
