Jody Glenham Sets November Release for "Dreamer" 7-inch

Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Jody Glenham has revealed the details on her previously hinted-at 7-inch and EP releases, which will both put the focus on new tune "Dreamer." The vinyl single will arrive first on November 4.

The self-released slab of wax will house the title cut on the B-side, and it's described in a press release as a soundscape that "brings to mind a Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star)-fronted My Bloody Valentine." The A-side, meanwhile, features a Shangri-Las-style song titled "Between You and Me," and the whole thing is being pressed up in a limited run of 100 copies on lavender coloured vinyl.

Though a tracklisting has yet been made available, both songs will feature on the Dreamer EP, which will be released later in 2014.

As previously reported, the tracks were all recorded last December at Los Angeles's Red Rockets Glare studio with producer/studio owner Raymond Richards (Mojave 3, Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions, Brian Jonestown Massacre). On top of production duties, Richards collaborated with Glenham by playing various instruments on the sessions.

For now, you can stream both cuts from the 7-inch over here.
