At the start of this year, Montreal singer-songwriter JF Robitaille unveiled a lyric video for his Julie Doiron-featuring collaboration "Missing You." Now, he's ready to share the official clip for that same song, and Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere.
Robitaille previously noted that "people have been connecting to this song in a surprising way, which has been extremely gratifying" and hoped that it would be kept "open to several interpretations." Well, the latest interpretation is his own, pairing the track with wistful shots of the Robitaille scribbling notes and singing into the darkness, with some old home videos spliced in to give it a vintage, nostalgic feel.
"Missing You" will appear on Robitaille's upcoming album Palace Blues, which is due out this spring on Sparks Music/Universal. Watch the brand new music video below.
