Jessie Ware's disco era lives on as she brings us back to the dancefloor. Her fifth record, That! Feels Good!, is due April 28 via PMR / Interscope.
The follow-up to 2020's What's Your Pleasure? — one of our favourite albums that year — will bring continuity to her sensual, pristinely produced pop as seen in today's release of "Pearls." The new track "doesn't take itself too seriously but demands you to have a dance," said Ware in a press release [via Pitchfork]. "It's inspired by divas like Donna Summer, Evelyn Champagne King, Teena Marie and Chaka Khan."
Ware adds That! Feels Good! itself "stems from over 10 years of understanding who I am, and who I enjoy being as an artist and the thrill of performance." Last summer's one-off track "Free Yourself" will also be featured on the album.
