Jessie Ware is ushering in a new era of ecstatic dance music with "Free Yourself," the British artist's first piece of new music since closing the door on What's Your Pleasure with last year's The Platinum Pleasure Edition.
The thumping, funky disco-house of "Free Yourself" was co-produced by Stuart Price and Clarence Coffee Jr. and finds Ware unleashing her sterling voice over towering piano stabs, rapid-fire drums and diving strings.
"Free Yourself" is the beginning of a new era for me," Ware said in a statement. "I'm so excited for people to have this song for the end of their summer; to dance, to feel no inhibitions, and to feel joyful because that's how I've been feeling recently being able to tour again and being able to sing again. Enjoy yourself, Free Yourself!"
Ware gave "Free Yourself" its live debut at Glastonbury last month, and you can listen to it in all its glamorous glory below.
