The debut record from these swingin Swedes follows in the line of great retro-rock records to come from the home of Abba. Employing every psychedelic rock production trick imaginable, the bands sound takes the best elements from all the great 60s psych-rockers and combines them into a clap-happy collection of colourful rock and roll tunes. Jan Henning Sorensen does a great job of imitating the wannabe jazz drummers of the 60s and vocalist/guitarist Thomas Innster has great character in his voice but its Ivar Johansens swirling organ that gives the band its edge. Occasionally the lifted ideas are a little obvious but youll be too busy dancing along to care.
