Generation Genocide

BY Stuart GreenPublished Sep 1, 2003

For their major label debut, Southern Ontario old school punk rock louts clean up their act — but only slightly. This disc's 15 tracks of Clash/Rancid-inspired melodic street punk are delivered with a more polished but certainly not duller edge than previous releases. Clocking in at about three minutes each, main man/tank top model Greg Taylor's songs reflect the everyday things that have influenced who and what he is. "City Streets" and "Shop Floor" detail a life of hard working and hard living while the party-rock shout along punk ode "Saturday Night" is sure to inspire much fist pumping at live shows. Crank it.
