Who are you? Jeremy MacCuish, drummer for The Luggernauts and Shamus, and formerly of General Rudie and Sugarfoot.

What are you up to? Recording and playing in Quebec and Ontario.

Hometown and current HQ: Montreal.

Current fixations: Fishbone, purple (not the color, the word), evil.

Mind altering work of art (not your own): Ben Folds Five's "The Unauthorized Biography of Rheinfold Messner," Fishbone's "Chim Chim's Badass Revenge," all live Zappa.

Most memorable/inspirational gig and why? The Luggernauts in St Jerome, a dangerous mix of harcore separatism and crack.

What should everyone shut up about? Playstation 2, other products they count on to make life bearable.

Your greatest strength and weakness: Strength: my attentiveness to the constant struggle between my conscious and subconscious mind.
Weakness: I think too much.

Your vital daily ritual: Get at least eight hours waking hours per night.

Guilty pleasure: Oasis, Barenaked Ladies, necrophilia, eating too many cookies.

If I wasn't playing music I would be: Bored.

Your most memorable day job: Telemarketing - I called 3 dead guys and a woman who asked if I was ready for the war against the Jews.

Best/worst advice received: Come on, everybody's doing it! (I fell off and broke myself)

I would drop everything to play a benefit for: Cancer... I'm against it.

What makes you want to take it off and get it on? Colours.

What personal trait would make you kick someone out of your band? And have you? Being ugly... just kidding, and yes.

When I think of Canada I think: Red, pale green, greyish white, maybe some blue in Toronto.

Music and sex: Is there a difference? Why? Yeah, sometimes I can get a musician to play for free.

Strangest brush with celebrity: I was an extra playing drums in the Jennifer Love Hewitt movie "Audrey Hepburn." She's VERY annorexic.

What does your mom wish you were doing instead? Making money.
