Jenny Ritter

Wolf Wife" (video)

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 10, 2015

Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Jenny Ritter plays timeless, rustic Americana music, and her new clip for "Wolf Wife" complements the tone nicely.

The song is a tuneful, sensitive folk rock song that's flecked with with banjo, pedal steel and fiddle, and it features the lovely refrain, "There are I things I do in dreams I would never do in life." In the accompanying clip, Ritter walks into the wilderness with her banjo on her back. She ends up following a vision deep into the forest, where she builds a campfire and becomes one with the landscape.

Ritter's album Raised by Wolves will be out on September 4 through Fiddle Head Records. Scroll past Ritter's tour schedule to watch the video for "Wolf Wife."
