Janelle Monáe Expands North American Tour for 'The Age of Pleasure'

Just over a week ahead of ushering in The Age of Pleasure, Janelle Monáe has announced plans to take her new album on a North American tour.

This August, September and October, Monáe will play 26 dates on the continent, with three of those shows set to take place in Canada.

UPDATE (08/09, 10:00 a.m. ET): Monáe has added a few North American dates, including a second night in Toronto. See the update schedule below, with the newly added shows in bold.

The second date of the trek will bring Monáe to Vancouver's Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on August 31. In September, the artist will play back-to-back evenings at Montreal's MTELUS (September 20) and Toronto's Massey Hall (September 21).

The Age of Pleasure follows Monáe's 2018 album Dirty Computer. The new effort features singles "Float" and "Lipstick Lover."
