Alt-rock hero J Mascis dropped his new record Tied to a Star yesterday (August 25), and today he's delivered the visuals for album cut "Every Morning."
The Dinosaur Jr. guitarist may be focusing on his solo career right now, but for the new video he's teamed up with Funny or Die and a couple unusual guest stars. The clip stars Mascis as the leader of The Space Children of the Forest and looks back on the happy, freewheelin' days of the religious cult before its mysterious disappearance.
The Shins' James Mercer makes an appearance as a Mascis disciple, while Fred Armisen shows up to spoil the fun as a straight-laced computer man from the future.
