J. Cole Drops "Album of the Year" Freestyle

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 8, 2018

J. Cole is just about to embark on the "K.O.D. Tour," but before he leaves, he's delivered a brand new track and video.

Dubbed "Album of the Year," the song hears Cole freestyling over Nas and the Bravehearts' "Oochie Wally," as he makes the case for his own K.O.D. as 2018's finest LP.

The track arrives accompanied by a video by Simon David. It's simple enough, letting Cole spit his bars straight into the camera.

Check out the video for the "Album of the Year" freestyle below.

KOD is available through Umusic on vinyl or CD.
