Published Apr 07, 2015Last month, Interstellar Rodeo revealed the lineup for its fourth annual Edmonton edition. This year, the event has expanded to Winnipeg for the first time ever, and now the lineup for this spinoff festival has also been confirmed.
The Winnipeg festival takes place at the Forks from August 14 to 16. Performers include Sinead O'Connor, Blue Rodeo, Steve Earle & the Dukes, Dwight Yoakam, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Hawksley Workman, July Talk, Elliott Brood, the Lone Bellow, Jason Plumb & the Willing, and Amelia Curran.
There's some overlap with the Edmonton edition, as other Winnipeg performers include Tanya Tagaq, Justin Townes Earle, Black Joe Lewis, NQ Arbuckle and Rhiannon Giddens (of Carolina Chocolate Drops).
Weekend passes will go on sale on Friday (April 10) through festival presenter Six Shooter Records' website. A limited quantity of First Movers passes will cost $141.90; once those sell out, early-bird passes will be available until May 20 and cost $161.25.
After that, advance pricing will run until July 31, with another increase on August 1. Get more ticketing details here. Passes will eventually cost $225.
Edmonton's festival runs from July 24 to 26 and features St. Vincent, Charles Barley, Father John Misty, Buffy Sainte-Marie and others.
