In a mixture of intense solos and spacy guitar/drum duets, this Norwegian duo creates minimalist miniatures in a post-Ornette universe that ranges from abrasive lyricism in "Darbu" and "Last Visit" to the white noise saturation of "Think Happy Thoughts." If you consider Derek Bailey among the most significant innovators in improvised music, you will find plenty to burrow for here.
