Electro-tinged Hamilton outfit Illitry are currently prepping their debut EP, but before it arrives, the band have offered up a brand new video for "Wildberry" — and Exclaim! has got your first look at it.
The track boasts twinkling synths, dramatic drum machine beats and hazy vocals, while the clip itself features sweeping shots of rural landscapes and a gang of stylish road-trippin' pals. They cruise down the middle-of-nowhere highway in the back of a pick-up truck, cuddling up to each other and chain-smoking to kill the time as the sun begins to fade. The video was recorded by Jakub Blank and shot in rural Pennsylvania.
"Wildberry" will appear on the band's forthcoming The Sunset EP, which is due out this summer. If you want to see them live, Illitry will be playing Toronto's Opera House on May 9 as part of Canadian Music Week and will be joining the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra for a special collaborative show on June 25.
