Here's something you've been waiting many years to read — Ian MacKaye has finally reunited with Fugazi! Or at least one quarter of Fugazi. Specifically, he has a new project with his old Fugazi bandmate Joe Lally.
MacKaye has started a project with his wife Amy Farina, who he previously collaborated with in the Evens, and Lally. The trio don't have a name just yet, but they are planning to play their first show this weekend.
Lally previously hinted at the project in an interview with The Blade, where he said he had been jamming with MacKaye and Farina.
As Brooklyn Vegan points out, the band are planning to play their first show this weekend. Taking place on November 11, the concert will take place at St. Stephen's Church and will serve as a benefit for the Loaves & Fishes organization.
