Sludgy Toronto punks HSY impressed us with their newly released self-titled EP, which we called "a potent cocktail that's equal parts Jesus Lizard and the Jesus and Mary Chain, with Skinny Puppy's knack for tortured, raspy vocals." To celebrate the release, they've given the song "Tartar Mouth" its own video.
The clip mostly plays out against a plain background, where we see some folks do some weird interpretative dances and and spew faux-drool thanks to simple overlaid CGI. It was directed by Chris Chamii and Annamai, and it's a fitting accompaniment to the fuzzed-out track.
