First things first: shield your eyes unless you want to see a penis. Actually, by now, it's probably too late for that. Either way, that manhood-friendly image you can see above is the album cover of Go Outside, the latest album from weirdo pop eclectics Hot Panda.
The band's new long-player is due out July 17 through Mint Records. This marks the group's first album since they moved from Edmonton to Vancouver shortly after releasing How Come I'm Dead? in 2010. Like that prior LP, Go Outside was recorded with the famed local production team JC/DC (Destroyer, the New Pornographers).
According to a press release, the ten-song collection is "just as vibrant as their first two albums, yet significantly more developed." See the tracklist below, and scroll past that to check out the band's upcoming tour schedule, which includes shows in the U.S. and Europe but so far not Canada.
At the bottom of the page is Go Outside's first single, "Future Markets," which is significantly more menacing and less skittish than much of the band's past work. Stream and/or download the song now to see what we mean.

1. One in the Heat, One in the Chest
2. Language
