Indie-electronic veterans Hot Chip have shared a new music video for their Bath Full of Ecstasy track "Positive."
The Sebastian Strasser-directed visuals arrive today and pair with the song that the band calls "a juxtaposition between the frenetic euphoria of the sound and the melancholy of one human being, just hoping that someone, somewhere, cares."
The video sees an assortment of surreal visual elements, but centres on a hallucinatory pack of dolphins, a priest and a group of dancing friends.
Strasser described his video in the following statement: "This film is about love and the lack of it; about the tension between the natural flow of energy versus our social constructs. The free soul is rare."
Bath Full of Ecstasy arrived last June via Domino.
In addition to the new video, Hot Chip have also announced a short run of international tour dates. You can find the full itinerary here.
