Dancefloor-friendly UK outfit Hot Chip recently teased the idea of a new album with a mysterious trailer, but now they've set the record straight and revealed plans for a new LP titled Why Make Sense?
The new, 10-track collection will arrive on May 19 via Domino Records. The limited-edition deluxe version will also feature a four-song EP titled Separate, featuring additional non-album cuts.
Why Make Sense? was recorded in Oxfordshire and London, with producer Mark Ralph. It marks the follow-up to 2012's In Our Heads.
The new album artwork is pictured above, while the full tracklisting can be found below. The band have also shared lead single and album opener "Huarache Lights," which you can scroll past the tracklisting to stream. On top of that, Hot Chip have a pile of tour dates coming up, including a show in Toronto on June 3.
