British dance party staples Hot Chip are releasing a stand-alone 10-inch single this summer in the form of "Dark & Stormy." Ahead of the July 22 release in the UK via Domino, the track has hit the web.
The song premiered on Zane Low's show on BBC Radio 1. It's a hypnotic, shadowy dance track that features melodic croons and repetitive dance rhythms. Things get a little more unpredictable a couple of minutes in, as the groove shifts into a poppy bridge followed by a squalling breakdown before returning to the main motif.
The single is available to pre-order here. It comes backed with a new version of the song "Look at Where We Are" from 2012's In Our Heads. This version features Tori and Reiko Kudo.
