The long-awaited sophomore album from Hercules and Love Affair is finally approaching. The record is called Blue Songs and has a UK release date of January 31 via Moshi Moshi. We can't give you the North American release details just yet, but we have found a stream of the album's debut single.
The track is called "My House," and while they might be singing about their dwelling space, the song could just as easily be referring to the techno subgenre as the group drop some vintage '90s dance music on this track. Aided by the sultry voice of new guy Shaun Wright (who inexplicably decides to start scatting at the end of the track), this suggests big things for Blue Songs.
