Hellmarys

Toronto’s heavy music impresarios, the Hellmarys, are here with their new CD — and it’s heavy. Duel guitars work with a slow dirge pace from a band showcasing some well-rounded musicianship here. Reminiscent of Black Sabbath in more than one respect, this release manages to deftly avoid the trappings of a corny rock act. Tracks like "Adversary” and "Rock the Nation” demonstrate the range these guys have to offer. Bleeding Is Believing delivers! Amen.
