Who are you? Helen Androlia.

What are you up to? Playing a high-class whore in a local production of 'The Comedy of Errors', losing sleep over university admissions.

Hometown and current HQ: Brampton, ONT.

Current fixations:
Woolens, fancy coffee, my i-zone camera, collecting Shopper's Optimum points, Robertson Davies, tattoo funding, Montreal.

Mind altering work of art (not your own): 'The Prophet' (Gibran), 'Siddhartha' (Hesse), 'Fifth Business' (Davies), Jenny Holzer truisms and Aubrey Beardsley's drawings.

Most memorable/inspirational gig and why? DJ Hive and the Asian Dub Foundation at the Opera House was not only a great show, but I met all of ADF, who happen to be really grounded, intelligent guys.

What should everyone shut up about? The pop explosion...if you ignore it, it will go away, I promise.

Your greatest strength and weakness: Strength- boundless energy.
Weakness- it stems from coffee consumption.

Your vital daily ritual:
Having a shower with Herbal Essences shampoo...don't ask me why, but that shampoo is vital...and I have to check my email before bed, without fail.

Guilty pleasure: Sharing half a pizza with Kat.

If I wasn't playing music I would be: Making my parents angry by becoming a starving artist, writing and painting and acting for a living.

Your most memorable day job:
I worked with special needs teens all summer, and I'm doing it again...I came out of that job in Sept. with a concussion and three new scars.

Best/worst advice received:
Worst: 'you'll look great as a blonde...trust me'.
Best: 'oh, just add ginger ale to the whiskey. everything tastes better with ginger ale.'

I would drop everything to play a benefit for:
Animal Rights and the promotion of vegetarian living.

What makes you want to take it off and get it on?
Honesty, artistry and Massive Attack.

What personal trait would make you kick someone out of your band? And have you? I've never had a band... I'd kick someone out of bed for congratualting himself a little too much though.

When I think of Canada I think:
Home!... Cold, cold winters and lots of places to canoe in the summer.

Music and sex: Is there a difference? Why?
Oh, sure...music's fun even when you're on your own and, well, there's less strings attached.

Strangest brush with celebrity:
I won a theater scholarship when I was nine...The 'Marsha Moreau' scholarship, and she gave it to me... She was the younger sister on 'My Secret Identity' back in the eighties. *oooh*

What does your mom wish you were doing instead? Studying harder, and 'taking responsibility for my actions'.
