Looking into the past, we're seeing that loving him was red (as the Canadian flag — and The Eh! List logo); and remembering this week's incredible round-up of the best new Canadian music "All Too Well" is most definitely in your future.

In a nutshell: Status/Non Status and Zoon join forces as OMBIIGIZI on "Residential Military" ahead of their Kevin Drew-produced debut albumJex Nwalor begs you not to share your feelings — the "Same Old Mistake" fellow Torontonian Zenesoul made.

We've got big new singles from everybody's beloved PUP, the motherfucking princess Avril Lavigne, July Talk, Les Louanges and fanclubwallet. Jasmyn of Weaves also released her first solo single, and Gord Downie's wife Kaya Usher made her debut with the Family Band ahead of another Kevin Drew-produced album.

TSwift's not the only one dropping a massive record today: this week saw several major album releases, including Casper Skulls' Knows No Kindness, Haviah Mighty's Stock Exchange, Cedric Noel's Hang Time and SEULEMENT's EX PO, as well as fresh collections from Julia Daigle, Land of Talk and Charlotte Cardin's new deluxe version of Phoenix.

What if we told you that Keys N Krates team up with Lido Pimienta, Tami Neilson does a rendition of Joni Mitchell's classic sad holiday tune "River," and D.W. Waterson taps Sydanie for one of the two songs called "Bubble" on this week's playlist? Would you ever ever ever believe it?

Settle in — you're going to want to "Stay Stay Stay" awhile with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
