Marking the Get Up Kids' first release since 2011, the emo-pop vets' new EP Kicker is officially here. Right now, you can hear the entire mini-release for yourself.
In a previous statement, guitarist/vocalist Jim Suptic said the following of the EP's overall theme, "You always look back in rose coloured glasses, and I always remember when this band was really struggling and we were selling our CD collections to pay our rent and that sucked at the time, but looking back that was an amazing time, that was so much fun. There was no pressure or anything."
The Get Up Kids' last full-length album was 2011's There Are Rules, and you can hear where they are at in 2018 for yourself below.
Kicker is out now via Polyvinyl/Dine Alone. The Get Up Kids also have a lengthy U.S. tour lined up, and you can see all the dates over here.
