Paul McCartney is gearing up to release a super deluxe reissue of 1989's Flowers in the Dirt, but before it arrives in all of its special edition glory, Macca has shared a previously unreleased cut from the package.
As previously reported, the second disc in the set features a number of original demos, and you can hear an early rendition of "Twenty Fine Fingers" from that disc right now.
A third of the tracks on Flowers in the Dirt were co-written with Elvis Costello, and while their collaboration "Twenty Fine Fingers" never made the final album, you can hear the bespectacled new waver and former Beatle team up on a demo version of the track.
It's a jaunty number that pairs both singers' vocals atop quick, skiffle-y acoustic guitar. Give it a listen below.
The elaborate Flowers in the Dirt reissue is out March 24 through MPL/Capitol/UMe.
