Hamburger Helper Serves Up 'Watch the Stove' Mixtape

Brands working references to popular culture into their social media strategies isn't uncommon, though the majority of the results are downright embarrassing. Now, whoever controls the social media presence of Hamburger Helper has turned up the heat by releasing a full-blown five-track mixtape.

Billed as the "hottest mixtape in the kitchens," Watch the Stove features five tracks with three leaning towards hip-hop while two others make use of R&B and neo-soul stylings. Featuring tracks such as "Feed the Streets," "Food for Your Soul" and "In Love with the Glove," the tape is also beefed up with quotables such as "Water whippin' and I'm stirrin' / Y'all want beef then I'mma serve it" and "Swervin' swervin' switching lanes / Hamburger on my brain."

Production comes from DEQUEXATRON X000, Tro Spectro, illwin, Realistic Productions, GenReal and @itsdandy. Online reaction to the sizzling set of tracks has been largely positive.
