Good news for fans of throat-shredding '80s hair rock: the legendary Guns N' Roses have reunited their classic lineup, with plans to headline Coachella in 2016 and possibly go on tour.

The news comes via Billboard, who report that Axl Rose and Slash have settled their differences and will appear onstage together next year for the first time since 1993. Also rumoured to be taking place in the reunion are bassist Duff McKagan, while Matt Sorum is believed to be taking over for drummer Steven Adler.

Guns N' Roses are set to headline both Coachella weekends, taking place in Indio, CA, from April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24.

The band are also said to be negotiating a North American tour that could see them perform at 25 football stadiums. The band are rumoured to be asking up to $3 million per show.

Representatives from the band have not responded to Billboard's request for comment just yet, but expect 2016 to be the year of G N' R.
