Once again, prolific indie rock greats Guided By Voices are calling it a day. After reuniting in 2010, Robert Pollard and co. revealed today (September 18) that they are once again breaking up the band.
On Facebook, the band shared the following message:
Guided By Voices has come to an end. With 4 years of great shows and six killer albums, it was a hell of a comeback run. The remaining shows in the next two months are unfortunately canceled. Our sincere apologies to those that have purchased tickets and made travel plans. Thanks to everyone who has supported GBV.
So, yes, all the group's upcoming dates have been cancelled. You can see all those stops here.
Since GBV reunited in 2010, they released an impressive six albums, the latest being this year's Motivational Jumpsuit and Cool Planet.
Call it a hunch, but despite the breakup, we think this isn't the last we've heard from Mr. Rob Pollard.
