Grouper Celebrates Winter Solstice with New 7-inch

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Dec 21, 2016

While we haven't got a proper Grouper album since 2014's Ruins, ambient soundscaper Liz Harris is celebrating the winter solstice today with a new mini-release.

Today (December 21), Harris self-released a new Grouper 7-inch called Paradise Valley, with the digital/vinyl release collecting the new tracks "Headache" and "I'm Clean Now."

Along with the release, she also treated the A-side, "Headache," to a new video, with the dreamy clip shot in 16mm by regular collaborator Paul Clipson. You can check that out below, where you'll also find a stream of "I'm Clean Now."

You can order the 7-inch, which is limited to 1,000 copies, over here.
