Grizzly Bear Offshoot CANT Reveals North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 22, 2011

Last week, Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor announced his upcoming full-length debut as CANT, Dreams Come True. While the big news at the time was that the album, a collaboration with Twin Shadow main man George Lewis Jr., would be coming out this September, the press release also pointed to Taylor taking the act out on the road sometime in the near future. The musician has now revealed those tour dates, and he will be hitting North American clubs this fall.

It's unclear who will be part of CANT's live band, but considering the scheduling conflicts with Twin Shadow's fall jaunt with Diamond Rings, it's safe to say that Lewis won't be onstage for at least a couple gigs, if at all.

The trip begins October 1 in Portland, OR, but Canadian fans will get to check out Taylor and co. the next night (October 2) at Vancouver's Media Club. Toronto and Montreal will also be treated to CANT shows. Check out the full schedule below.

As previously reported, Dreams Come True comes out September 13 via Taylor's Terrible Records.
