Greyhound Tragedy

Buffalo

The relentless prairie horizon has given rise to unyielding prairie rock in the form of Greyhound Tragedy. Former members of Jr. Gone Wild have self-produced a visceral attack on the senses; it is hard rock from Marshall-powered guitars ("Deaf Ears," "Grudge") that takes lessons from metal, grunge and cynical poets everywhere. Steve Loree's deadpan melody-impaired vocals steer the band through headstone-inspired, double-kick pedal-driven songs and occasionally outdo themselves, as in the stellar "Cold Fusion."
