Nick Talbot is the singer-songwriter behind Bristols Gravenhurst. Originally released on Talbots Silent Age Records, Flashlight Sessions was picked up by the avant-garde electronic label, Warp Records. Said to be influenced by the likes of Third Eye Foundation and Flying Saucer Attack, Gravenhurst sustains a foreboding mood throughout the ten tracks that were written, performed and recorded by Nick Talbot. His harmonising and introspective vocals are reminiscent of some sort of Simon & Garfunkel/Jeff Buckley hybrid.
