After unveiling the details behind their self-titled debut and streaming "Violescent," new metal supergroup Gone Is Gone have now floated a music video for the track our way.
As previously reported, the group unites members of At the Drive-In, Mastodon and Queens of the Stone Age. Sonically, the track booms along with big drums and doomy, stoner-tastic six-string riffs. Mastodon member Troy Sanders' mighty howl terrorizes throughout.
Visually, the video puts a twist on the self-titled collection's cover art, with a series of nubile female figures floating across the screen. Though this is often against an all-white backdrop, there are a few tripped-out, kaleidoscopic scenes to behold.
You can check out the clip below, while Gone Is Gone arrives July 8 through Rise Records/BMG.
