Ahead of issuing their self-titled debut, rock supergroup Gone Is Gone have unveiled another new tune. Their atmospheric "Starlight" was premiered through Beats 1 earlier this week and has now been fit with a blue-mood music video.
The clip plays out as a fairly straight-forward performance video, with the quartet offering up shimmering guitar melodies, bashed beats and keyboard ambiance from within a cobalt-coloured soundstage. Singer Troy Sanders tames the howling he often offers up in Mastodon to deliver an often shushed though gravelly performance. Between cuts, we're hit with fuzzy points of light.
The video can be peeped below, while Gone Is Gone's EP will be released July 8 via Rise Records/BMG.
