Gojira had some big summer tour plans with Deftones and Poppy that were ultimately rescheduled, but it hasn't stopped them from teasing something else for 2020.

Yesterday (August 3), the French metallers shared a looping clip of a flashing control panel alongside the hashtag #anotherplacetobe. That teaser was followed a second shot of the controls today, announcing further details "tomorrow" with the hashtag #anewplaceforme. You can find both below.

While both teasers are devoid of Gojira's typically crushing riffs, fans pointed out that the phrase "Another world, another place to be" had been prominently featured on limited-edition merch from the band's 2017 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.

This past June, the band had made footage from the entire performance available through YouTube for a single day. You can revisit that with a clip of "Pray," also found below.

Gojira have yet to follow up their 2016 album Magma, which Exclaim! named the LP one of the Top 10 Metal and Hardcore albums of that year. The band had previously teased studio activity last September.
